I thought Hard Target was meh, Face-Off was better but still not that great, and A Better Tomorrow was very good.
I didn't see the second one nor have I seen The Killer, but should I get around to seeing them, I expect to like them and see no reason why I shouldn't.

I thought he stuck to action/crime films. I had no idea he directed that (I haven't seen it, but still).

ABT1 was great, the story for the sequel was weak, but the action was great for its time.

Exactly. That one scene in Children of Men may be why I love the movie so much. I can't stand when a director chops up the movie more than an emo's arm. I love long takes because it cannot cover up shitty acting, like short cuts, big flashes, and loud sounds can. Oldboy is another great example. I need to rewatch Heat because the first time I saw it, I thought it was good but nowhere near great. However, that's been at least 10 years ago and I don't remember much about the movie, so it will be close to watching it for the first time. I did that with Predator about a year ago, and I love that movie just as much as I did when I watched it back in the late 80's.
Anyway, I just want to show my love for long takes. My friend and I actually walked out of 28 Weeks Later because we could not stand the shaky camera/horrible editing/cut shots every .5 seconds. I just couldn't stand it any longer. I give that movie a 2/10.

Is Windtalkers the movie with Nicholas Cage and the guy who played Kickin' Wing on Joe Dirt? If so, that movie absolutely sucked IMO.

I just watched Gone With the Wind, and it was pretty damn awsome.
