How has everybody been posting this whole time? My computer's had Sherdog frozen at 9:00 AM on Monday morning
So far I've just watched
Baby Mama and it was pretty bad. Not quite terrible, but a notch or two above it, so it's close.
There was one funny line, though. Tina Fey's trying to get Amy Poehler to eat healthy now that she's pregnant, and Poehler says to her, "You know, there's such a thing as being too healthy. It's what killed Bruce Lee."
I, of course, loved that line, but even I can tell you that it doesn't make the film any less crappy.

For me, it's always been between
Serpico and
Dog Day Afternoon, and since I haven't seen either in a REALLY long time, I'm not going to venture an opinion.
Suffice it to say:
Dog Day Afternoon is awesome, as are both Al Pacino and John Cazale.

Glad you enjoyed it, and yes, it's pretty remarkable watching
Killer's Kiss and then
The Killing and seeing how much Kubrick grew as a filmmaker in such a short time period.
Different class of filmmaking for sure.

+1. Such an awesome film. It has a feel akin to
The Warriors, which is also awesome.

I think I need to remind
HH of more than that.
The Terminator
Aliens
The Abyss
Terminator 2
True Lies
Titanic
Cameron>>>>>>>>>>>>>Scott.

If you're going to claim any of Tarkovsky's films to be superior to
2001---or any of Kubrick's films, really---at least pick one that was actually good like
Solyaris.

Arnold by a mile. Stallone's the better actor, but Arnold's the better action star and he's made the better films.

Can't wait for that one. That and
Shutter Island (2009) are my most anticipated films of the year.

I can't stress enough how REAL the movie feels, everything about it is genuine. If you haven't seen Heat get out of this thread and watch it right now.
