It's one thing to think Kubrick's overrated, but I'm surprised at how much you dislike him. Then again, I'm sure someone could read my post about John Ford and say the same thing  |
I don't dislike him per se, I just think his movies are overrated. I saw Eyes Wide Shut a long time ago, and the only positive thing about it was all the female nudity. Tons of tits and bushes. But not a good movie, IMO. I haven't seen any other movie on that list, as far as I can recall.

I'm looking for the soundtrack to Dead Man's Bounty. Can anybody help me find it?
btw, Dead Man's Bounty is one of the worst movies I ever half saw. 60 minutes into it I had to call it quits. If by that time, there is nothing compelling happening, nothing holding my attention, no characters developed... dear god it's the worst movie i've seen in my entire life. but the soundtrack was good.

I have to air out my affection for long takes. Lots of scenes in Children of Men, the hallway scene in Oldboy and the first introduction scene in Goodfellas are good examples of this.
Flashy and short takes annoys the shit out of me.
