Does anyone here have a scooter? With gas going up I am really considering getting one. Not like a Vespa or a sissy one like that I want to get a 250cc that I can take on the highway and shit. My problem is I am a big dude and I want it to be able to move...So what does everybody know?

I would not take a 250cc scooter on the highway. If you are going to get a scooter and take it on the highway get a 600cc. The better bet is to get a motorcycle so you have passing power and enough acceleration to get yourself out of trouble.

I have evne driven a bigger three wheeled scooter, awesome

I even like riding the biger models because they are automatics for the msot part) jsut lesss hassle

I dont want to get a bike a. they are more expensive b. gas isnt as efficient c. insurance is a lot more. I work 6 miles from my house and I think the scooter would cut my gas down to nothing.
