Scary games
You ever play scary ass games like Doom 3, Half Life 2, etc. For some reason I cannot play game like that. I used to play the first Half Life and earlier Doom games fine but now with all the new realistic graphics and stuff, I get scared shitless when I play those games. I don't get it. Movies with zombies and monsters don't do shit for me, but when some creepy looking thing pops up in a game, I get scared.
Should I just man up and go through the games, or should try looking for other games?
Please Help.

I purposely put myself in the scariest possible time to play doom 3. 2AM alone in the house with no light except the screen, yep, it was quite an experience.

D3 and HL2 are nothing compared to the Silent Hill series.

That's what i heard, prowler.
I beat doom 3, it was quite scary. I couldn't play with headphones and i was very, vary cauitious witht he volume down.
Then I picked up F.E.A.R.
Doom 3 is nothing compared to the amount of shit you will excrete during Fear. The first quarter of the game was enough to make me give up all hope and delete the game. Because ive heard people say like lol the beginning is boring but at the end youll shit your pants. Well i was already shitting my pants not halfway through so...

Really? I heard FEAR was really good and thought about getting it. Not anymore.
I bought Doom 3 and the first time I played it I was freaking shaking. I couldn't take it anymore and deleted it. Then a few weeks later I got bored and tried it again. This time i had cheat codes but it was still scary as fuck. I deleted it again. I will never play that game again.
Half Life 2 isn't as bad but I just can't get past the fucking zombie area. At first it was cool playing with the gravity gun and chopping a few zombies with saw blades but then it just got too creepy. I don;t know what to do with the game.
