What made DS so good?

first off, the DS is the portable gaming system that has 2 monitors right?

if i remember correctly, the guys in EGM (or another gaming mag, im not sure) weren't to excited about the DS, and leans more on the PSP. But seeing the thread about which system has the best sales, not only am i surprised that the 360 isnt topping the list, but im very surprised that the DS is.

my question is: what made the DS that damn good to sell so much?

Its simple, easy to use, relatively small, and has a lot of fun games. The PSP is rather large, clunky, and feels more delicate (breakable) than the DS. No one really wants to listen to music or watch movies on a PSP, that's what an ipod is for. Plus children love the DS.

can you give me a list of popular games for the DS as well as the PSP?

also, what are the prices for both?

it actually works. wii the controllers are still shaky and not as accurate as we were made to believe.

ds has original titles that are actually portable. you can pick up and play for 10 minutes and then stop.

psp has ps2 remakes and some new ones but most are remakes. the titles that come out for psp are not as portable as the ds. like gta for psp who plays that game for 10 minutes? it is not practical.

f you are a complete tech freak i think most go for psp bc of its functionalities.

? Wii controls are very good...as long as you give it a few hours to get used to it. All PSP games get boring after half an hour. DS games seem to have longer gameplay. For instance games like FF3 will take over 20 hours of your time.
