Julien Donkey Boy. It's by Harmony Korine. The movie is about a paranoid schizophrenic boy, played by Ewen McGregor. A lot of the movie is shot with hidden cameras in public, getting people's real life interactions with the characters. It's a fantastic movie, that most people will not have the guts to sit though.

We share the same opinion, then. The first one of his films I saw was Blue Velvet, and while bizarre, it had a plot that could be followed. Going from that to Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway, I found myself wondering what the hell I had just watched.
