This post is awesome. I recommend every movie he said.

Even though some people hate it, I really liked American Beauty.

Crash was really bad, in my opinion. Don't understand why anyone thinks it's so "thought provoking".

Kill Bill 1 & 2 - over the top, comic book style action flick with revenge serving as its main theme

Sin City - comic book styled collection of pseudo films noirs about crime and vigilanteism in a crime ridden city

Apocalypto - a few days in the life of a (mayan?) indian. great thing about this film is you get to feel the tension, insecurity, and danger of tribal life....the daily fight for survival.

Check out:
1. David Lynch's work, especially Mulholland Dr. and Inland Empire.
2. Requiem for a Dream
3. American History X
4. Fight Club
5. Memento
6. The Big Lebowski (required for EVERY sherdogger)
7. The Game
8. Event Horizon

...there's lots of great stuff out there.

Definitely a good movie. One of my favorites as well.

I'm a Hitchcock fan...so I would definitely recommend:

Notorious
Rear Window
North by Northwest
Vertigo
The Man Who Knew Too Much

I hear one of his first movies "39 Steps" is pretty good...I'll have to add that to my netflix list.

On a side note...I'm also a Saul Bass fan...and he designed a lot of the beginning and end title credit for a few of Hitchcock's movies.
