Recommend movies
I haven't nursed my interest in movies for some time due to training and musc, but yesterday and today I kinda revived it. So I wanted to hear about some movies I might not have seen and it would also be nice to inspire others to watch a movie they didn't know of. So this kinda excludes something like Goodfellas, at least for me. Recommend, and please write a little about it.
So I'll go first. I saw "The treasure of the Sierra Madre" today. It's an old flick(1948 I think) but it's just great. Bogart fans should check it out. He plays a slacker who's living down in Mexico and he's spending his time walking around with his buddy, bumming money from other americans etc. until he and his buddy overhears an old man talk about prospecting. So they set out to get some gold with this old man, and from here it just takes off like a cross between vintage Indy Jones and a deep psychological study of the greed that can consume people. It's a very captivating movie, entertaining too. Bogart is great but Walter Huston, who plays the old man, kinda steals it.
So please, share some (Sorry if a similar thread was up recently, but I didn't find anything using search function)..

If you want classics you gotta watch Citizen Cain it is highly reviewed for a reason.
Comedy: The Commitments, a bucnh of young adults from Dublin start up a soul band, great music and loads of fun.
Action: Sniper with Tom Berenger, viewed by some as a cliche B-movie but it is great, you can find it in the garbage bin
Asian: Bittersweet Life, aswesome action/revenge movie with asian mobsters, awesome cinamotography and action scenes with great acting
Drama: Magnolia, a bunch of cool actors working with as heavy ******
