Radiohead in rainbows

www.inrainbows.com

New Radiohead album out October 10. I have already heard some of the songs off this album at live shows and am positively thrilled about this. I mean pretty much every album they have put out (minus Hail to the Thief and Pablo Honey) has been up there with my favorite albums in my collection.

i can't wait for this to come out. i ordered the discbox last night as soon as i saw the website, sucks we have to wait till december for that. but its pretty crazy they're releasing the main album so suddenly, and for free download. theyre still not even on a record label yet (unless i'm mistaken?)

i don't really like much off of pablo honey or the bends, except creep(which is obviously really played out by now), and street spirit. hail to the theif is pretty damn good, but not quite the same level as ok computer, kid a, and amnesiac are.

hopefully in rainbows(which is a pretty shitty sounding name imo, but who cares) will be on the same teir as those 3 albums, because all 3 of them are some of my favorite albums ever

Well the songs Nude, Arpeggi, Videotape, and 15 Step I've all heard live and are friggin awesome so the fact that those four are on the album means that it will at least be decent. If any of the other songs on this album are good, or great this could be a really good album.

ive heard just pieces of those songs (been trying to not listen to them to not spoil the finished versions when the album comes out), but ive heard last flowers and down is the new up, both of which are on the 2nd album in the discbox. and both those songs are amazing

Pablo Honey is important to the band's history, and it is an interesting collection of songs; but as an album, it doesn't work nearly as well as the others.

Most of their material is great.. and it all gets better the more you listen.
For me, OK Computer, Kid A, and Hail to the thief are their strongest work. Followed by the Bends, with Amnesiac and Pablo at the rear.
