R.I.P. Robert Jordan

Robert Jordan, author of the popular Wheel of Time series died today due to complications with primary amyloidosis, sadly the Wheel of Time is as yet incomplete and the future of the series is up in the air at this time, and it is unknown if the story will ever be given its rightful end.

I can remember late nights and rainy days reading one of Jordan's books, and I have read all 11 installments of the Wheel of Time and was eagerly awaiting the last book. Hopefully the story can be published and the tale he spu for nearly 20 years can be completed as an homage to a great (if sometimes longwinded) story teller.

Wow! How old was he? I never read any of his books, but my friend is a big Robert Jordan fan.

That's sad to hear.

I used to read that series as a kid, and remember the ending being put off longer and longer. A lot of fans have been waiting for years and tens of thousands of pages to see the series end.

Although that's a very superficial thing in the face of his demise. RIP.

Not a very good author but that doesn't mean he should not be mourned.

So RIP
