So unfortunately I cannot start my 401K at my job until I turn 21, which isn't for another year and a half. Because of this, I was looking into some IRA's but became very confused with all the different types and policies and what not. Does anyone have any helpful information on them? Or personal experiences? Thanks in advance for all the replies! Cheers

the best bang for your buck of the IRAs available is the Roth. there's no taxes due when you liquidate it (at 59 1/2, of course).
