Question (medical)

A while ago I was diagnosed with "gladiator herpes" on my ear/neck. I got this virus from mma training. Anyways the doctor said I can't train anymore until it is all gone which would be 7-10 days. Today (Wednesday) would be the 9th day, and I am all out of meds and I am much better.

HOWEVER, I still have one scab left on my ear and I am wondering if this shit is still contagious. I have barely left the house (one time in 8 days) because I have been bored as hell. I want to train but I don't think this scab is going to completely go away for another week or so.

Does anyone know if this is contagious still? I know it would be selfish to train if it was and risk spreading this garbage, but if it isn't I want to go back today. Any doctors or med students here that could answer me? I'm all out of my meds for the virus but there is still a little scabbage....

Thanks...

This almost makes me glad I'm not grappling anymore and training only on striking.
