Question for guys

I have asked my husband if he thinks a certain guy is good looking or ugly and he says he cant tell a good looking guy from an ugly one. Is this true with all guys, can you really not tell if a guy is good looking or not, or are you just embarrassed to be judging guys appearances.

I can tell if a girl is hot or not...

if i'm looking at a shirt ad or something, i look at the model and can't tell if they are good looking or not. but i assume they are, otherwise they probably wouldn't have been chosen. they look average to me.
