Do what any other business would do. Hire a guy with the same credentials that you need. Have doucheboy train him.
Then let him go saying you can't afford to pay him what he's worth.
After that you give the new guy a raise to close to what you paid the old guy and your a winner!
That way when he leaves, he'll have a big head about how good he is, his relative will understand. After all gas price's aren't getting any lower. Then once he's out the door and no longer part of your company. Bring your concern to the licensing board. After it only takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch!
