Lets assume you just couldn't be happy with a mil and you could be happy at a gas station. what then?

also, if you aren't happy with what you have living a humble life, will you ever be happy at all?

So what if i'm not happy.
It will give my family a better chance than I started with.

I mean I don't have much now and I'm perfectly alright with that, really simple. Like Diddy said, mo' money mo' problems. But if I were able to basically stumble across a mill, I would take the cash over the gas station. I would love being rich but I do not work insanely hard towards it, I just make the bills and have money to hang out with my buddies and what not and I am rather content with that (although I am only 21). I'm sure things will change eventually.

Wanna' really blow your mind? Ask a girl if she'd rather have a tanned guy with a six pack and big arms who beat the shit out her on a regular basis and fucked all her friends or a fat dude who treated her like his queen.

They all pick the abusive dude.

Ask your guy friends if they'd rather have a hot slut or a fat chick who adored them. They all pick the slut.

People suck. Edit: (Get on a treadmill and) Deal with it.

Better question would be

Would you rather be a gas station worker with a large happy family

or

a millionaire whose large happy family all died in a firey plane crash

^ uh, that's not really a good question. nice try.

---------------------------------------------------------
i'd probably take the money though, there is nothing wrong with being less than perfectly happy, like unadulterated happiness is the utopia of emotions. that's crap. if you aren't at least a little unhappy how could you ever be happy. this is a recurring theme around here, happiness, and i find it strange, what is the obsession with happiness we got in this mayberry.

besides, like someone said, the money would help people around me and that would be worth it my someone unhappiness, *which like i already said, i don't mind

It isnt the best way the question could have been put, but in the essential wealth versus happiness scenario its attempting to get at, its helps show what people really value.
