It is definitely worth losing the 360 exclusives for me because I play video games rather infrequently but watch a lot of movies.

Perhaps waiting is the better choice indeed haha.

And yes, Netflix is the way to go if you have a BR player, watch a lot of movies and don't want to spend a ton of money on BR movies. I'm on the plan myself.
It seems you may have blazed the trail I'll be going down.
Perhaps I'll arbitrarily set July as the month where I'll really think about buying something.

Good luck with your decision, perhaps there will be more news about a 360 BR add on by then.

That is my hope.
Or 360 will get some revolutionary compression and some improvements on xbox live that make it the future of downloadable hd content... or something.

Games library is irrelevant as their are more than enough good Ps3 games and more than enough crap x-box games.
It's not as if you're going to buy them all now is it?

Kinda agree.
There are enough great games that are cross platform alone to keep me going.

I suppose I should come up with a list of 'which five games would I buy for each system?'
Then I compare the lists.
Is one column way better? Probably not.

Thanks.

the Blu-ray argument might sell the PS3 for me. That was why I bought a PS2 - for $50 more then a DVD player I got a video game system too.

I bought my 360 at launch and I never have any problems with it.
