I would not pay for any system with graphics like the E3 2006 screens. I had seen the 2005 pictures and pre-rendered movies and thought the PS3 would blow everything else away. If that's the crap they intend to put out, I won't be buying. My nerd friends tell me that the PS3 is capable of incredible things, and that is not incredible.

Maybe in 2009 they'll have games that actually require blue ray discs and can utilize the potential of the system.

I had PS2 and now XBOX360. I don't think the PS3 games look better than XBOX360. They look about the same. And the PS3 is a year later and much more expensive. I will play the XBOX360 and maybe the Nintendo game.

Even if the PS3 comes out and the games aren't mindblowing, it'll be like the PS2 and PS1 before it. Each quarter there will be more and more advances, more ways developers will find of tapping more power from the system... hasn't really happened with the XBox and it probably won't happen with the 360 either.

As for what I'll get, whatever platform that MGS4, GT5 and the next GTA are coming first on.

I'm 100% that the next MGS, GT and GTA franchise games will need it... and as HD TV prices drop and I get one it'll be retarted not to want a blu-ray player for so damn cheap.
