another reason why im a sony fan is because of the great games they make. you just know the PS3 is going to have a shitload of badass games. the 360 has dissapointed me so far in that department aswell. just like the xbox, you have to be a fan of FPS, military, shoot em up, blow em up, type of games because seems like every other game that comes out for the 360 fits that genre. more of the same from microsoft, "MEH" games with good graphics. PS3 will have kickass games that will appeal to every type of gamer and the graphics are off the chain.

From the gameplay clips and pics i've seen the PS3 has that 'wow' factor that makes it worthy of being a next generation console. I like both consoles and i had a xbox 360 but sold it to one of my friends, it didn't really impress me that much so now im gonna wait for a while and get the ps3 just for MGS, Grand turismo, Killzone and pro evolution soccer.Maybe when halo 3 comes out i might get a xbox 360 by the way those fight night pics look sick.

the reason fo the higher price, microsoft is raping you on all the add ons. buy the time you get all that stuff, it will end up costing more then the PS3. PS3 will also have blue ray and when that officially hits the market, the blu ray players will probably cost you a couple grand. the reason for blu ray on the PS3, games 10 times larger then oblivion on a single disc! to sum it up....

See if you sum it up it doesn't make since for the playstation side. If you say that the Blu Ray will cost a couple grand(the cheapest is a 1000) than how in the world is Sony giving you a blu ray player that plays games, has network capability and some other stuff well below the price of your average blu-ray player? Their going to use cheap hardware which will break.
And besides everyone is looking at all these pitures os PS3 stuff going "oh yeah this is better" but just wait until the games come out for real. And they cost you 80 bucks.

Just because PS3 is technically faster doesn't necessarily mean it will be better.Theoretical and real-world capability are 2 different things. Like people have said before, it's harder to program for. And xbox has one thing that PS3 doesn't have, one hell of an organized online gaming community.
But in the end it all just comes down to preference.

Can't wait for the Wii... if you're looking for good graphics, then why would you going to spend $500 or $600 for a console, as opposed to PC which can always looks better than console. I'm not saying PS3 won't be fun, I just think PC's own when it comes to how good a game looks.
