I've seen a clip of gameplay footage for the Motostorm game on the PS3. To put it bluntly, it was shocking. It made comparable X360 games look like garbage by comparison.

From the gameplay clips and pics i've seen the PS3 has that 'wow' factor that makes it worthy of being a next generation console. The X360 falls way short of being a next generation console and is only slightly better than its predecessor. And I have an X360 so I know what i'm talking about when I say it's not impressive at all.

i bought a 360 about a month or so after they came out. its a great console but like someone else said, it didnt "WOW" me, instead, it left me disapointed. maybe it was because i had really high expectations for it. there are games on the xbox that look like poor mans 360 games. doom 3 for example is like a low end 360 game as far as graphics are concerned.

i still enjoy my 360 and i probably will hold off a bit before i get a PS3 but after seeing all the stuff coming out for PS3, its easily the superior console. developers have even said that its more powerful then the 360 and the PS3's true potential cant even be reached until like 5 years later. the 360 will be outdated when the PS3 is in its prime.

another reason why im a sony fan is because of the great games they make. you just know the PS3 is going to have a shitload of badass games. the 360 has dissapointed me so far in that department aswell. just like the xbox, you have to be a fan of FPS, military, shoot em up, blow em up, type of games because seems like every other game that comes out for the 360 fits that genre. more of the same from microsoft, "MEH" games with good graphics. PS3 will have kickass games that will appeal to every type of gamer and the graphics are off the chain.

Well shouldn't it look better? The damn thing is like $300 more than a 360, not to mention games will probably be close to $80. imo the PS3 will flop.

and graphics don't make a system. Gears of War is probably gonna be the best game out of all those above based on it's gameplay.

the reason fo the higher price, microsoft is raping you on all the add ons. buy the time you get all that stuff, it will end up costing more then the PS3. PS3 will also have blue ray and when that officially hits the market, the blu ray players will probably cost you a couple grand. the reason for blu ray on the PS3, games 10 times larger then oblivion on a single disc! to sum it up....

I've got a 360 and I've been underwhelmed so far. I haven't played a game that had great graphics and gameplay yet. I've got the GTA clone coming in the mail on tuesday so hopefully that will do it, but I've got low expectations.

I've heard dead rising is good too, but I haven't played that.
