Why don't you read the surrounding passages and then explain to me how the subject there quickly changes to talking about heaven without actually mentioning heaven.
Again, I'll ask you to explain your reasons why you think this.

Why do I think it? Because when I went to church my pastor was very big on these passages. I remember him saying that he'd meet his wife in heaven, have no idea who she was other than "just another saved Christian" along with everyone else.
But since having god erase you memory doesn't sit well with you .... you can always "interpret" that passage differently like many other christians.

Pat Robertson told me that if I donate to the 700 club then when I get to heaven people who I never met on earth will come and thank me for helping convert them.

You still have failed to give an actual reason for assuming that this passage is talking about what you have stated. Apart from "Someone told me so".

I ask again, using the reasons and text in the surrounding passages, why do you think that this particulal passage is talking about heaven when the verses make no mention to suggest that this is what is being talked about?

Is "someone told me so" really your best reason?

I'm not a biblical scholar. I'm just telling you that many Christians out there believe (using the bible passage I have quoted) that when you go to heaven your memory gets wiped. Ask one of them to justify it. Bring it up at your next bible study.

Instead of that, why doesn't sniffkin describe heaven and use passages to support it?

Just as I thought. Weren't you the one who used to accuse me of back peddaling? Well, you need some mirrors for what you need to do. You are the Lance Armstrong of sherdog back peddalers.

And no, you didn't just state what many Christians believe. You gave a single passage that, on it's own, can appear to mean what you tried to say it meant. You misrepresented the actual meaning though as any fair person would have posted the surrounding verses so the context of the words could be understood. But you obviously knew that on it's own, it served your argument. With the rest of the verses, it reduces your point to nothing.
