Grand Theft Auto 4 exclusive to X360 on 10/17/07

LOS ANGELES (CNNMoney.com ) - Grand Theft Auto is coming to the Xbox 360 - and Halo 3's not far behind it.

Microsoft announced that the next installment of the extraordinarily popular and controversial "Grand Theft Auto" franchise will launch on its Xbox system Oct 16, 2007. This will be the first time a "GTA" title has launched for a system other than the PlayStation.

In addition to obtaining first-day rights to "GTA 4," Microsoft (Research) announced it had entered into a strategic relationship with Take Two to provide exclusive episodic content via its Xbox Live service.

It's launching that day for PS3 too, which is strange since PS3 won't be on the shelves...

shouldn't it be GTA 6? vice city would be GTA 4 and san andreas would be GTA 5. unless of course this has something to do with liberty city (3 and 3 1/2)?

Gta 3
Gta 3: Vice City
GTA 3: San Andreas
GTA 4

GTA 4 is probably going to have a huge change.

my interest is peaked. with the exception of state of emergency i like everything rockstar has ever made, especially the gta series.

vice city and san andreas do not have the number 3 anywhere in the title of those games

anyways from what i understand... the way they are going to do it now is that for every new next gen console that comes out they will add a new number to the series...

yes it will but the price tag is going to kill them much like it did the neo geo gold and 3do just to name a few systems that had huge price tags

Interesting conclusion.

I do think that sometimes he is excited or winded from body shots. He has a huge drive to win - and when he sees an opening he puts everything he has into it.
