Please Help burning DVD question

I have downloaded a couple of old movies, but they are not Xvid like I am used to, the folder is VIDEO_TS and contains all sorts of strange files, vob, BUP and IFO, how do I burn this? I have NERO 7 premium

Nero is good. There should be an option when you try to burn a DVD, make sure it is a DVD Video not ISO DVD. Then it will make a Video_TS folder and an Audio_TS folder and you put the vob etc folders in the video folder.

Nero Startsmart -> Photo & Video -> Burn DVD Video Files -> Put all files in "Video TS" folder, burn and you will have a 1:1 copy of the standalone dvd with menu's. chapters etc. That's what all those strange files are, as well as the actual video files, also the menu's, chapter indexing etc.

Most of the torrents I download become .AVI when I unpack them. Is there any way to put these onto a dvd and be able to play them on my regular DVD player?
