There was a Pink Floyd thread in OT and most of the retards shitted on Pink FLoyd.

They are classic and I have most of their albums and The Wall dvd, The Wall is pure musical and artistic genius.

Sadly, I have never had the chance to attend one of their concerts.

I've never seen the whole band live, but I was lucky enough to attend a Roger Waters show in a big outdoor arena about 10 years ago. He played a lot of my Pink Floyd favorites, and it was amazing just the same.

Smoking weed and listening to Pink Floyd is up there on my greatest life experiences list.

Korn did a pretty good cover of Another Brick In The Wall.

Here's a cool Halo video with the song.

I liked the original version better, but this one is pretty good. BTW that is not the full song.

Pink Floyd reminds me so much of high school listening to them is just a trip in itself.

I would have to say Pink Floyd easily top 3 bands of all time next to maybe the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, which isn't bad company bad any means. I think the wall was like the third highest selling CD of all time and Dark Side of The Moon has to be top 20.

David Gilmore's guitar work is so unique I think anybody that's ever picked up a guitar has been inspired to try and play like him.

In my own guitar playing experiences there is only two bands that have influenced me to the point where I had to drop everything else I was learning and just focus on learning some of their stuff. ****llica for the shredding, galloping aspect of playing and Pink Floyd for the melodic aspect.

I think anybody that doesn't like Pink Floyd either can't appreciate the quality of Pink Floyds music or they haven't ever taken the time to sit down and listen to them.

Is David Gilmore's "On an Island" good? I've only heard one song from it.

I just seen that HUGE box set that was finally released.

It made me want to cry, because I'm poor right now...
