persistent hiccups....wtf?

anyone ever had hiccups last an unusual amount of time?...im just recovering from Ecoli(lots of vomiting, and diahrrea)...but for the last 24 hours or so ive had the hiccups and they wont go away.....anyone know if this is bad ?

now i'm not sure if this applies to persistant hiccups, but i've never had more than 3 consecutive hiccups in about 15 years. holding your breath gets rid of them every time.

suck in as much air as you can, and when you've got it all suck in minute amounts more to the point where you might feel lightheaded. wait a few seconds until the hiccups are gone and then breathe 'er out. with normal hiccups, if it doesn't work then you aren't gasping enough air.

persistant hiccups though.. good luck with those, dude.
