Any paintballers?

Been playing for about 7 years now, tournament play for about 4. I shoot a 2k2 Impulse and an Ion.

No new pics on my comp yet, but heres a few old ones...

If you havent ever played before, please do. You will have fun I guarantee it. I have yet to meet anyone who has played and didnt have fun.

I used to play a lot. I have a 15 year old Automag. I was thinking about getting into Airsoft since it is pretty popular around here.

I used to play on a friend's farm. We would 20 people together and have weekend long battles. It was great fun.

I've been playing for about 14 years. 1st gun was a Spyder Classic. 2nd was a 68 Automag with 8 Hole Mod. 3rd was a Custom Milled J-Wise Autococker. Recent Gun is an Ion! I don't play as much as I want to now.

I run Nitro on Everything and also have a Halo Hopper!

I have a few friends that play paintball and airsoft on the weekends and have been looking at getting into it for a while now. The only reason I haven't yet is because the equipment seems very expensive and I just haven't had the cash to drop on it. We have a lot of good places around here in Atlanta, so as soon as I can get some nice equipment, maybe I'll see some of you guys around. Anyone else in the Atlanta area?

Also, what's the average price of a good gun? I don't like to buy cheap stuff, but I don't have to have the "iPhone" of paintball guns either. I want something that does its job, and does it well without breaking the bank.

Get an Ion. 200 Bucks and it's electronic. It does the job man.

You can find a good tournament quality gun these days without paying alot of money, alot of the high end high priced markers are hurting right now becuase of it.

You can find autocockers, Ion, epiphany, even Impulses for less than or around 200, all great guns. Pros are known to use these as well.

I have been playing for 10 years, and I am actually looking into getting a new marker. I know tippman are great markers, and the one I have is an f-4 illustrator (sp), with an expansion chamber, and 13inch zub zero sniper barrel.

Haven't played in a year or so, need to though, a lot of fucking fun no doubt.

Thanks for the info. This is also another reason why I've been slow to actually buy the equipment; there seems to be so many brands, guns, and options, I didn't want to make a mistake and buy something that was crap only to have to buy another one when I found out I bought a piece of junk.

I don't really 'play' per se, as in tournaments and stuff cause that's just not my thing.

But I own a spyder MR1, and me and my friends own two pieces of land where we have set up buildings and stuff. We go to one in the winter, and one in the summer.

It's alot of fun, 3 v 3, or 4 v 4... even 2 v 2 on our winter course is good...
