System Shock 2 rocked.

All the old lucasarts adventure games also rocked. Now LA are traitors and release everything for consoles. the new Star Wars games isn't even slated for release on PC. Blasphemy!

I miss all the old flight sim games that were actually fun to play. Battle of Britain, Secret weapons of the luftwaffe and Aces over Europe and stuff. Now they are either so complicated that you need to actually be a pilot to play it, or stupid and boring after 10 minutes.

Star Control 2 is another great old pc game. I think I actually managed to get that going in XP. Took heaps of fiddling. Either that or I just went with a dos boot disk. But i'm pretty sure i managed to get it going within windows.

Boot disks... i dont miss those though. I remember many frustrated hours fiddling with EMM386 and HIGHMEM settings on boot disks to make things run.
