Baldurs Gate was cool, too.

Dont know what it is but i dont like the current trend of just more and more graphic-power and special effects. Good storylines are on the losing end of this prozess in the overall picture.

I actually got the demo version working on Linux under emulation, and it was playable. Then steam started crapping out on me, wouldn't let me log on again, wouldn't let me re-register, and was generally a piece of shit.

Obviously, I didn't buy the game, fuck them.

It was supposed to be an awesome game, but if they are going to fuck their customers like that with these protection schemes, I won't but them.

Doom3 worked out of the box, with a Linux version to boot.

Awesome game. Worse story than HL2, but better graphics, and excellent atmosphere for the old-skool Doom fans. I'll get Quake4 too.

yeah that was amazing. very naught of me i know but i downloaded it from limewire a few months ago. havent really had time to play though....

There isn't going to be a sequel to system shock, rather a similar game made by the same developers called Bioshock. There's a huge article about it in the March issue of Game Informer. From what I read it'll be a must have game for the 360, and probably the PS3.
