The Old Man Still Has It!
As some of you know, I am planning on going back to school at my ripe old age to get an MS in Finance and maybe eventually the Ph.D. It is something that interests me and I am at a point in my life where I can do whatever I want. This is something I wanted to do.
I have no formal education in finance and I haven't had a math class since I was 18 years old (my senior year of high-school.) I substituted my one math requirement in college with a logic class. I didn't know if being away from school and math so long would effect me. In short, I didn't really know if I could perform like I used to at any academic endeavor.
Well, I took my GMAT and scored a 710 (Q46, V41). That score puts me in the 93rd percentile. I am pretty satisfied with myself. It isn't some crazy high score but I think it is very respectable all things considered.
So it looks like the old man still has it!

Good luck man. I had a 60 year old dude living in the apartment above us for half the year. He was pimpin on them 19 year old sluts too. I swear one night when I was drinking JD, he had two of them carrying his groceries into his apartment.

Rockin! Congrats man! I'm psyched for you.
I considered going to veterinary school awhile back, it's always been a dream of mine, but it turns out going to veterinary school is not something you can just decide to do on the drop of a hat. So the law's tentacles are long and sticky as ever.
Where you thinking of applying? What places have good finance programs? I always wanted to be one of those weird older guys who take their courses way too seriously, when all the younger students are cynical hoop-jumpers.
Btw, 32? Goddamnit, I always thought you were older than me ... I'm 33. Guess I am the true old man.
