offshore jobs and the kind

Hello all I was just wondering if anyone has any information on how to go about getting a job where you go off for a few months at a time and do it.

What I mean is , a job like on an oil rig or in Alaska if you catch my drift, like the trawler men who go out on the boats for a few months.

I'm interested in having a job for a few months where you go off to where ever and do some labour for a few months.

I don't mean those jobs specifically but the idea of going off for a few months to work , i like.

Jobs that you need no qualifcations for etc.

thanks

Get a Z card through the US coast guard then go to your local seafarers international union and take jobs through there or apply to military sealift command they are the largest employers of merchant mairners in the US. As for fishing jobs up here check out this website

Thats the exact same kinda thing I want to do in a few years. Not long term, just for the experience (as harrowing as it might be)

Work with animals. You'll go all over the place and it the funnest job you'll ever have dealing with all kinds of exotic animals.
