The Celtics will win around 70 games and sweep the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals. KG and Pierce will share MVPs. 1 for the reg season and 1 for the finals.

The only two losses they have had were a close one in Orlando (a powerhouse team) and a overtime loss to the Cavs. Both on the road BTW. They just have too much firepower with ray Allen, House, Posey and a bunch of decent role players like Rondo.

One thing is for certain. They did give up way too much young talent in the KG deal. They should have kept Ryan Gomes.

I really disagree with that. They gave up a solid PF in Jefferson and a 6th man/rotation guy in Gomes. Beyond that, Gerald Green is unproven and Telfair is a bust. I like Gomes and Jefferson a lot, but they wouldn't guarantee you to be competitive, Garnett does.

Also, from what I've seen of Lebron this year, his D has taken a big step up.

I hate Boston. However, I have to accept reality that they will plow through the NBA this year. Since I lived in the DC area for almost 20 years I became a bulletts/Wizards fan and always will be. The loss of Arenas seemed to be ablessing in disguise. They seem to play better when he is not in the lineup.

Still, who knows what those picks will turn out to be. They gave up their pick, which will be a low low pick, and they gave back Minnesota their pick which hurts more than anything.

Even still, they really got a steal no matter how you look at it.

The Spurs are 15-3 right now and will be repeating the NBA Championship this year.

Duncan gave us a big scare when he injured his knee against the Trailblazers but it isn't too serious so he should be back soon. Tonight we play the Mavs without Timmy, so it should be a tough game. I heard on the radio Ginobili might sit out due to injury, in that case we will struggle against the Mavs.
