Non American Hip-Hop/Rap (English and other languages)

Non American Hip-Hop/Rap (English and other languages)

Hip-Hop rap seems to be the hardest music market for other then Americans to breakthru in, on the american market) other musicstyles/grioups enjoy tremendous success on their respective markets. Why is that?

Any Hip-Hop afficiandandos that honestly think that these videos(that I will psot) aren't up to par with what the hip-hop industry in america put out?

So hip-hopers from outsidde of the US unite and show the yanks that just like r'n'b/blues-rock in the 60/70ths we whitees can do it aswell, post videos of good non-american hip hop to educate the yanks (preferably from your home country

That Promoe video is tight. That shit is more hip hop than 90% of the shit in the States.

But sorry Lubaolong, but that taiwanese rap is horrible. I cant stand Asian hip hop in general. First, I think asian languages aren't very good for rapping. Second, most of the asian hip hop I heard is too poppy and performed by a bunch of gay looking punks with choreographed dance moves. Third, the non-***gy rap is basically a rip-off of American gangsta and club joints.

I've seen asian rap videos that look EXACTLY like american videos. Just replace black people with asians but keep the spinning rims, 10 feet long platinum chains, and skanks.

jay chou is the shiz. yeah, his style is poppy, but he does write some really good songs. i don't know the name of the song, but he has one where he samples ping pong ball sounds as a rhymic track. i know, it sounds weird, but you have to hear it. pretty cool. he's kinda the justin timberlake of taiwan (maybe something to not be proud of? )
