Films with bad endings?

the other day i watched mystic river for the first time and i just wanted to say i was so disappointed by the ending - it practically ruined a perfect film. any other films similar? i know some of you may argue that not all films should b conventional hollywood, but im not saying that what im arguing is the ending wasnt satisfying, sopranos wasnt conventional but was still satisfying. any others?

mystic river was mediocre start to finish, just like every other movie clint eastwood has directed.

Oldboy....

It was one of those movies that should have ended 5 minutes sooner, as soon as the elevator door closed the movie should have ended. I didn't particular like the ending in the snow getting re-hypnotized. The movie went from OMG AWESOME to "pretty good" because of the extension.

That's just me.

No love for Play Misty for Me?

Million Dollar Baby was the biggest piece of shit ever. Cliche after cliche after worn cliche and nobody seemed to notice. But I guess the praise was warranted since everybody could cry about how unfortunate it was that Swank's character was on her way to winning until she fell at the exact time Eastwood put out the stool and in the exact place with just the right placement to be paralyzed for the rest of her life.

Anyway, I'd nominate Southland Tales but the whole film was as bad as the ending so who cares.

Limbo has a bad ending, but it doesn't sink the film.

I Am Legend has an incredibly bad ending, made even worse given the material they took from. But it's a Will Smith/Akiva Goldsman creation so I can only fault myself for expecting something better,

Sunshine had a disappointing ending. First 2/3rds of the movie were great, last 3rd turns into something else completely. Not poorly done, but just weird.

First person to say No Country For Old Men is gettin' shot.

I thought the original ending of Blade Runner seemed kind of forced.

well the entire movie represents a major backward lside in terms of quality from the first. i actually thought the ending was maybe its best feature. wasn't it where he realized he zion was still in the matrix?
