Their stocks rose above Sony. That's insane. Nintendo is becoming a juggernaut.

I've never owned a handheld system. Mainly because they don't seem so interesting. Why play on a handheld when I can play on regular system. But I keep hearing how great the DS is. So now my interest is piqued.

Care to enlighten me on what makes the DS so wonderful?

I travel a lot, and I friggin love my hacked out PSP for that purpose. However, I recently ordered a DS because 1) it's dirt cheap and 2) it's ridiculously easy to hack. it's worth it just for the castlevania and mario games for me.

I just downloaded every single USA DS rom (takes up about 5 gigabytes, only a little more than a standard single layer dvd).
