I hate this genre.

God of War was boring as hell.

Ninja Gaiden was combat fetishism.

I prefer games to require me to do more than hack and slash.

That's what makes these games so fun. I love the old dooms, duke nukem and serious sam for that reason: all insane combat.

Serious Sam had a lot better combat as it is just...out of the blue insane-o.

This is...eh.

I prefer the sidescrolling NG a lot more.

really? Well I guess it's good that you quit already because towards the end you'll want to break your XBOX and shoot the Ninja Gaiden creators. it took me and my cousin over a month to beat the pink demon lady, but once you beat the whole game you'll appreciate the fact the game is so hard to beat.

GOW is complete and utter trash compared to NG and DMC. That being said, NG was the only game I ever liked on the original Xbox and NGII will probably be the only game I'd want to play on 360. Sucks I'll never get to play it unless I can get my friend to buy it.

That being said DMC is far superior to the NG series but GOW is utter dog crap compared to them both.
