My girl has the American Idol kareoke game and there is a delay from when you sing to when you see it on the screen. Makes the timing a real hassle.

Well, Microsoft has been stealing ideas since the early 80's, so I don't see why it would change now. If you could just copy everything, the company with the most money would drive the smaller, more innovative companies out of business, because they can just throw money at advertising and hardware specs, and steal the innovations that make the smaller company's products unique.
