New Mass Effect Screenshots

http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/12724/...t-Screenshots/

A spectacular new vision from legendary developers BioWare, Mass Effect challenges players to lead a squad of freedom fighters as they struggle against threatening armies to restore peace in the land. Mass Effect is the first in a trilogy of games with an overarching story, where the real conflict between organic beings and artificial intelligence comes to life in startling clarity.

As the first human Specter – sworn defenders of galactic peace – your mission is to halt the advancing armies of a legendary agent gone rogue. But as you lead your elite team across hostile alien worlds, you will discover the true threat is far greater than anyone imagined...

BioWare released today new screenshots of the game that show it won't be too long before another Unreal Engine 3-powered game dethrones Gears of War as the best looking game on Xbox 360.

The screen shots look pretty good, but thebt reason to get it is becase ithas no swords or spells or stuff like that so it will set it apart from normal RPGs.

Is this a RPG or a MMO? If it was the latter,id still lean toward Age of Conan. It looks like a solid RPG thought,I saw the demo,it was pretty good. Its amazing what they can do with A.I. and Graphics.

I DLed the demo last night, and man, the game is horrible, i feel. It's a rehashed GTA with elements of that shitty game ONI for ps2. I'm really not liking it at all.

If anything I'd rent it. I wouldn't spend 60 bucks on that garbage game.

Those are not screenshots. There is a vid on xbox live that shows actual ingame development footage and it doesn't look like that. Those look like concept art.

As for crackdown, the demo is not that good. Hopefully the full game will be an improvement, but given the size of the demo(1.24Gb) I can't see the full version(~6.5Gb) being all that much better.

A real good game to watch out for is Assassin's Creed. The game footage looks awesome and the interactivity is impressive.

Assassin's Creed looks INSANE. I heard it was pushed back another year, though. WTF. Also, Fable 2 for the 360 is going to be a hit, too.

No worries man, Assassin's Creed is being released on April 2nd. Still haven't seen a firm release date for Fable 2 though.
