I'd choose either the internet or something like cellphones. Cell phones are all over the media right now for their contraversial effects on dangerous driving. Also, how about doing something on the video gaming industry as a whole. Talk about how it used to be just "for kids" but has since evolved with it's target audience to include all ages. besta luck
I was going to say cell phones as well. Everyone has them and if you wanna get more specific look up Japanese cell phone trends compared to united states or whatever.
