Hi, I was reading the thread on the best free programs on the internet and i tried a few of them- cc cleaner- which cleared up a lot of shit!, avast and opera. i also tried kapernsky online scan but my windows mx is too old for that to work. i tried prevx and it identified some trojans, malware etc but i have to pay to get rid of them.

my problem now is that some websites that i use frequently i cant use any more. for ex- i can open google but it wont perform a search. Maybe when i deleted some viruses it messed with my system somehow. i tried system restore but it had no effect. this happens with the explores, mozilla and opera browsers. also sometimes some popups occer but cant download\ but still try anyway- maybe this could be affecting it.

sorry to post is here and create a new thread for it but i really need it fixed and i cannot perform any searches to find the solution. for some reaseon sherdog still functions properly on my browsers.

easiest thing for you to do: Format c:

reinstall windows, anti virus, firewall, THEN connect to the net

if u dont want to reformat, its almost going to be impossible for us to troubleshoot the shit u got goin on

Thanks for the responce !Shit! so i gotta reformat everything? i dont have back ups of all my programs.　Im not sure if i even have windows on disk. it might take me a while before i can organise anything- to save my stuff and get windows disks etc. Is there anything i can try in the mean time?

Since Google wont search and if you're having problems with certain websites it sounds like a problem with J.a v a s.c r i p t.

Make sure J.a v a s.c r i p t is enabled in your browser.
Name some other sites that don't work.

hi im back. i disabled java ****** and closed ou blocker but google search still wont work. aslo i reinstalled opera and sherdog works fine but i cant sign into hotmail.but hotmail works on firefox. i dont get it. what else can i try?
