Mean birds (Grakle)
Is anybody else having problems with these birds. I have a roost of them in some evergreens in my backyard. Whenever i'm outside with my cats, these flying hell demons perform dive bomber maneuvers. It's not just when i'm with the cats, sometimes they swoop at my back when i'm not looking like the cowardly foe that they are. They relieve themselves all over my pool and house and they jack my dogs food out of her food bowl. Has anybody else experience this kind of behavior from these airbourne summoned devil minions?

Grackles ain't got shit on Magpies. Magpies do everything you described plus make the most annoying noise in the bird world and will not shut up.
I have a pair of Cardinals that showed up lasty weekend and were annoying me with a constant non-stop chirp.

Had some barn swallows dive bombing me a few years ago, but no grakles. We have a lot of them around, but they don't seem to be too protective of the nests.

Be sure to put a bowl of the poisoned food in a spot only reachable by the birds and not your dog. Either way, Blue Jays are my least favorite bird. Pellet gun FTW.

Grakles and magpies are both pretty bad.
Grakles love to eat dog food I suggest poisoning some dog food and putting it where they can get it.
Edit: I should have read the entire thread. someone beat me to it.

Well, other song birds feed out of the bowl too. I have some doves and some robins over here. There are some wacky smaller birds with these yellow stripes. Those birds are fine with me.
As for the pellet gun, I used to have one until I accidently put a hole in the neighbors window. But if I got another pellet gun, I would go with a scope for accuracy.
