I know some jobs require that you stand 8 hours a day but if you work at a office and you are in an office enviroment why the fuck should you stand all day? The company went as far as to remove all chairs from the office and replace the desks with counter tables.They even took all chairs out of the break room.Now why would a company go this far? even if their are no customers around and your caught sitting on something (copy paper boxes) you can be written up as sitting on the job.To make it worse their is really no point to it,their not gonna get any less work done by sitting.Its a little odd considering the rest of the work world has chairs and sanity.

Btw the customer volume is very low, most of the work is basically computers and paper work

I worked at a customer service job like that. I ended up damaging my knees from standing on them for so long. I am 21 and I cannot do jump squats anymore.

uhh what the fuck that is bullshit. im sure there's something you can do about that, because when i got off disability there was no way i was standing over 2 hours at once (not including two breaks and lunch)

man after reading some of your guy's responses i'd hate a job where i couldnt sit on my ass. hard labor is one thing, but just standing for extended periods is terrible

My girl had that enforced when she was a hostess. Took all the chairs away, etc. They also had a no leaning law.

It sucked for her.
