Icon9 Music for a Broken Heart

Hi.... Let´s say that a friend of mine just broke his relationship with his girlfriend... and he is feeling like garbage by now.

He was listening some musics like:

I Stand Alone - Godsmack
Alive - Korn
Wait - Earshot

He asked me some other badass musics that would inspire him to forget her.

I suggested:

I hate everything about you - Tree Days grace
Rise up - Drowling Pools

But he wants some more, so he can create a entire cd set to listen.

Any Sugestion to my "friend"?

Something by Sonata Arctica is like my usual depression songs Try Paid In Full, Shamandalie, Gravenimage, For The Sake Of Revenge, Don't Say A Word, or really any song by them.

See if your friend like The Postal Service - Such Great Heights, it's a really good song imo.

Such Great Heights is a love song and would probably only make you more depressed.

Sorry to hear about your...friend's heartbreak.

These two songs are great as pick me ups and as tearjerkers. Might not be exactly your..er, his style, but hopefully you give them a listen and they're of some worth.

This is a great song by Sam Cooke called "It's Been a Long Time Coming"...old song so all I could find for it was this cartoon thing.

One of my favourite songs all-time...hope you like.

this is the only song you got to hear when you got girl issues.

Watch this song and realize you are better than this (and her) and move on. Getting upset about it is just a black hole and isnt going to help you feel better or get over it.
