for me:

michael caine
edward norton
denzel washington

if any of these 3 have anything to do with a movie, produced, acting, directed, wrote, whatever, I'll watch it.

throw jessica biel in here too. but she has to have onscreen time in scantily clad outfits

Christian Bale and Daniel Day-Lewis. They make their characters interesting, even when the movie they are in suck (which isn't very often IMO).

I use to feel the same way about Edward Norton.

Edward Norton, Christian Bale, and for the most part Brad Pitt. But his movie with Angelina Jolie looked pretty stupid so I passed.

Kingdom of Heaven, Death to Smoochy, the Illusionist, and the Italian job, he has played dull and boring characters and I've gotten tired of it.

o I should also mention I'm not bitter about it because he is probably making more money through these parts so if that is the case, I say more power to him; However, he could be doing much better and more important work than these.

Daniel Day Lewis. He can single handedly turn a mediocre and even bad movie into something worth watching. Room With A View and Gangs Of New York spring to mind.

Edward Norton and Michael Caine are some two of my favorite actors. Of the actors tha I will see anything they make, I'll say Norton, Daniel Day Lewis, and for the most part Samuel L. Jackson, although some of his recent works have been less than impressive.

I thought the Illusionist was pretty good. Even if he wasn't that exciting, usually just watching him act is interesting enough for me. He wasn't in Kingdom of Heaven was he?

I can understand the other movies, but I thought he did a great job in Kingdom of Heaven. I will admit the role was bland, but I don't think anyone could have played it much better.

the poster above you didn't even notice him in kingdom of heaven, that should tell you how generic and forgettable he played it, heh
