Miracle Warrior: The Seal of the Dark Lord

Has anyone ever played this game? It is seriously one of my favourite games from when I was a kid, and I still play it now. It rules.

I played a lot of Sega games as a kid but I have never heard of that one. I spent a lot of time playing "Shinobi" and "Streets of Rage". Have fun talking to yourself though.

Yeah, I played it. Very cool game. My dad took me to toy r us to get a SMS game. They had 2 new ones. Phantasy Star and Miracle Warrior, both RPG's. I had no idea what an RPG was at that time but they both looked cool as hell. In the end I chose Phantasy Star (Still one of the best RPG's ever made). But a few weeks later my friend got Miracle Warrior. He'd bring it over and we'd play it.

Ahhh, good memories.

I remember certain things about Miracle Warrior being frustrating as hell. To the point where we had to call Sega (which was a regular number not the 900# companies use now) to get an answer. 1 part I remember was having to find an entrance to certain area. Like you had to move across the landscape in a certain pattern find it. Something like moving left 5 spaces, up 2 spaces, right 4 spaces.

I also remember a part where you had to fight this guy in order to get to the next area. There was no way around it, like it was surrounded by mountains or forest or something. We couldn't beat him at first and thought he was so tough that it was impossible so we tried every single thing we could think of to get around him. In the end, we just had to fight and win. But being new to RPG's it was hard to find the answers. Same thing with Phantasy Star. Was so used to action games and side scrollers. RPG's just completely threw us off. But it got me hooked and any game that had the letters RPG in it, I had to play. Didn't matter that I didn't know what RPG stood for, haha. I just knew that RPG games had a certain style of play that I loved.

I think i know the parts you are talking about.
You have to use the scroll for the first part- i never figured out quite how this worked until the internet walkthroughs became available.
The other part i think is the skeleton, you just need to make sure Guy is equiped with his special sword and use him to fight and the skeleton is not that hard.
