Me-tal Gear Solid database coming to Playstation Network today, for free!

Just saw this on Gaf and thought it might be useful to some of you Me tal Gear Solid fans. The story is notoriously complex so this will help beginners and be a good refresher for more experienced MGS fans. Best of all, its free!

But that’s not all, within MGS4, check out the EXTRAS option of the main menu (if you haven’t already). There’s already new, free downloadable content available for the game - with new camouflage and a new music track for the in game iPod. Man I know. I've played these games a lot and I still get confused with some of it. The 4th game takes no prisoners either, amazing story though

heh, thanks. Back on topic, I just bought ****l gear and will hopefully get to play some this weekend. I've heard great things about it but was hesitant because I never played the earlier games. After hearing that it is one of the greatest games ever, and may beat out GTA for GOTY, I had to buy it. I'll check out the database as well.

We shall see.

the mgs , like ALL japanese games have completely atrocious, nausea inducing storylines that even B , straight-to-video-then-the-bargain-bin action movie producers would shit upon. every single japanese game has the most laughable dialogue, characters and plot developement, it is as if all their writing staff got their inspiration from 450 hours straight of old chuck norris and steven seagal movies. im glad this thing will be free because no one should be expected to pay for this crap. good game play though.
