Me 28, She 19...conflicted

Old ass thread let it die. Update is no shag, but shagged a couple others from company, got forced out of the job by one of their boyfriends who was regional manager, good and bad I guess.

So this girl at work is getting a little attached to me. I should start by saying that I haven't been laid since my divorce (longer than I care to admit), and spring is dawning, I'm losing weight, women are noticing and I'm pretty much horny as hell.

So anyway she's only 19, and getting out of a bad relationship. She's an old 19 due to her past and responsibilities, and her personality, body, face is totally ideal for me. To complicate things, I will probably be her boss in a couple months. I see things naturally developing into at least a bit of an affair if I don't start dating someone...I don't feel bad about the age difference- I care about her a lot though and I get this chivalrous instinct to kill her dragons, take her back to my castle, etc. I don't know, could be a disaster, could be good long or short term...I don't know. Any thoughts?

If you are both justlooking for a fling, then go for it. If you are looking for something more, I'd be more cautious. No matter how mature she is for her age, there is a HUGE difference between 19 and 28. The life experiences that you have experienced will make her seem very self-centered and naive. Maybe I'm wrong, but this one is a long shot. Good luck!

1 dont mess with girls you work with
2 that age is great for a hit it and quit it nothing else
3 Play the field as long as you can

that said i would still risk some minor work tension if I were you to knock ,just dont make a relationship out of it.

I say go for it, but if you guys hit it off (more than just a one night deal), and you end up becoming her boss, it could get complicated. But hey, you never know how it will go unless you take a chance.

Is she the first girl you've been interested in since your divorce? Are you a little hesitant to get back in the game?

I've made a couple dates, but didn't show up for them (I know, that's odd). Yeah, very hesitant to start from scratch again...been burned pretty badly. With this girl, I could just as easily treat her like a little sister or something- I'd be happy if she met someone that treated her right. I'm experienced enough to see where she is headed in her feelings for me, so from my point of view, I don't know if Casper the Friendly Dick is just trying to justify sticking it to a hot little number...maybe I should go do someone from a bar and see where I stand at that point...
