McLaren lose all F1 Championship points

breaking news ...

McLaren were today stripped of all their points in the 2007 Formula One constructors' championship after being found guilty of spying on Ferrari.

Team drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso will be allowed to keep their points in the driver's championship standings.

The team have also received a record $100m fine and will be excluded from next year's constructors' championship, the governing body FIA said in a statement.

Wow this is absolutely huge news!

After Monza, McLaren pretty much sealed the constructor's championship. Now It's up to Hamilton to bring his A game. (not that he wasn't already.)

this means no need for team orders for the rest of the season. Hamilton and Alonso can go at it!

great point there. But Hamilton been the better performer this year. He's been very consistent and extremely successful for his rookie year.

Alonso doesn't seem to be the same champ from last year and one before. I mean in the Canadian GP, he made 4-5 errors on turn 1, which cost him position and got passed by Takuma Sato.

I wanted more, Alonso and Hamilton should lose points also, in fact, McLaren should be banned.

What they did is the worst thing a team should do.
