Mastodon, best ****l band out right now

Ive been listening to these guys alot for the last two years, and i really think they are the best ****l band out right now. they take everything that i would want to hear and put it together in a way that isnt cheesy, and they are great musicians. are there any other bands that anyone recommends that anyone thinks do it as well as they do?

Leviathan was great (my favorite cd of 2004) but I think Blood Mountain was a disapointment.

Machine Head. Their last 2 albums could be put next to the definition Heavy M.etal in the dictionary.

i'm not a big m etal fan but i really like mastadon. i like between the buried and me too

mastodon is definitely up there.. although i think Amon Amarth is the best band out right now

Mastadon is straight. I've seen them like 4 times. It was like they were on every tour I saw for a year straight. They're good musicians and have a good/unique sound but I don't think they're all that great.

me-tal is really just garbage to be honest. All it is is a bunch of guys who were never hugged as children, so they think playing 2 chords, smashing the drums, and screaming into the microphone is cool.

Why can't we say me-tal.
