Several reasons. One, the gov't hasn't found a wy to regulate it yet. Another reason is trafficking. Look at all the minors who are able to get cigarettes and beer. Would it be different for pot?

Trafficking should remain illegal. A person should, however, be able to grow a few plants for personal use.

Urine testing should be illegal as well. I can't see it as much different than having your boss peek in your window periodically/

I still don't understand why people feel the need to light a dried plant on fire and inhale the fumes. What is missing from your lives that you absolutely need this garbage in your body?

edit- Oh, and before the people that won't actually answer my question, but instead retort with the typical alcohol response, I rarely drink, and if it was outlawed I wouldn't care.

People smoke for one of the same reasons that people drink: It's a fun, social activity.

I don't understand why 600,000+ Americans are thrown in jail for possesing a plant. It is called freedom of choice.

Yeah the funniest thing happened yesterday, I used my freedom of choice to carry an 8ball of crack in my pocket and when this jerk officer found it on me, I got arrested!!!
