Ive got these marks on my LCD screen and they are really irritating.

They arent scratches because if my background is blue or black they cant be seen.

Anyone know what they could be and how I could possibly get rid of them?

That sucks. My suggestion was gonna be to mail it in to be fixed if the warranty covered it. I have a Compaq laptop. Sorry I'm no help.

what kind of marks? not sure what you mean. dinges? nicks? Sometimes some pixels can fail and that might show up funny on the screen. Have you tried cleaning it?

my laptop screen just crapped out on me and its not even 2 years old, right now ive just got it hooked up to a normal monitor

I hate Dell, my computer always has something wrong with it. It's kinda bittersweet to find out someone else is having similar misfortunes with a Dell product.

I was about to ask if this was a dell until i read a little.

We bought 200 Dell desktops where I work, and within 1 month 25% of the monitors started having lines and shit on the screen.

The only solution was to waste a BUNCH of time on the phone with Dell technical retards and send the mother fuckers back one at a a time.

Dell is much like the classic family resteraunt, synonymous with shit!

Having the screen fuck up like that should be considered mechanical. but you'll have to convince the dimwits at dell of that. keep calling back, sometimes you'll get a smart one

I've had three Dells in the last five years. Each time I decided to upgrade...they didn't crap out. I had problems with one...and they sent a tech the next day....were great with the calls, etc. Two family members also have Dells and are having great sucess. I do read alot about their lousy tech support, but I haven't experienced it. I've had great luck with them.

dell is the worst company i have ever had to deal with, seriously. and there products are absolute crap. i will never buy anything from them ever again.
